How does it work?
Each week you must pick a winner from each of the 20 pre-selected games plus answer a tie-breaker question. Each correct game picked is awarded 1 pt for a possible weekly total of 20 pts. Tie-breaker questions are not awarded any points and are used to determine winners in the case of tie.

Weekly prizes are awarded to the users with the most points for that week. In the case of a tie, the users with the correct tie-breaker answer are chosen. If there is still no determined winner(s) then a random selection is done from the users with the highest point total and correct tie-breaker answer.

The overall winners are determined by the total points throughout the entire season. In case of a tie at the end of the season then a random selection is done from the users with the highest point total.

Although the Midland Daily News' staff is not eligible to win we hope that you will enjoy that you will be competing against the MDN sports writers and staff each week or use our selection to detmerine which team you should pick.

Can I still play if the season has already started?
Yes.  Your picks going forward will be counted toward your score.  The later you start the lower your chances of winning the overall prize are.  However you will always have a chance to win the weekly prize regardless of how often you play.

What if I don't pick a week?
If you don't make your picks the computer can make your picks for you if you choose that option.
It will just pick the most picked teams from all the other contestants.

Are there prizes?
Yes. There are weekly prizes and overall prizes at the end of the season.

Can I play with a private group of friends and family?
Yes.  This is what makes it all so fun.  You can create your own league and chat with anyone you would like to and you can still have a shot at winning the weekly prizes.

After you register and log in, just click on the "My Groups" tab.  After the page loads, click on the "Create a Private Group" or "Join a Private Group" button and follow the instructions.
