Enter the contest by submitting photos of your children based on the age categories
(1 to 12 years old). There will be two (2) winners for each age group (1 boy and 1 girl). Photo submissions into the contest cost $10.00. Entrants can purchase votes at the time of registration, $5.00 min, or throughout the contest after logging in. You can also convince other people to purchase votes for your child by registering and sending a "vote for me" e-mail or posting the photo with a "vote for me" bookmark on social networks such as Facebook or Twitter.
Submissions with the most votes wins!
Anyone can vote for your child by making a donation to the contest. All the money raised by photo submissions and voting will be used toward the Newspapers in Education program, which provides newspapers, free of charge, to schools, teachers and students to use in their classrooms.

A professional photoshoot by the MDN photo staff for the winner and their family with (1) 8”x10” framed print of the family professionally framed by I've Been Framed.
One professional photo (per winning contestant) will be used on the Front Page of the Midland Daily News "Family" Section, a special reader insert running once per month in the Midland Daily News.
